About Madarat Popular Academy in Madarat road ,Baruipur Dist- South 24 Paragana, Baruipur

During anti-bengal partition agitation, this school was established on January 2,1909.

Some glorious names like revolutionary Arabinda Ghosh, Bipin Chandra Pal & veteran dramatist Ksirodprasad Vidyabinod's name is attached behind set up of this old centenary school. Respective Lawer Harendranath Patthak was assigned first head master of
"MADARAT POPULAR ACADEMY ". In the year 2008 this school crossed 100 years.
The secondary section is for boys & higher secondary section has Co-education facility.
H.S section carries ARTS,COMMERCE & SCIENCE with proper laboratory & library facilities.
The school has Big ground, premise & a big stage named " Ksirodprasad Vidyabinod Mancha" in entrance of the school, where various cultural programs are organized.
Besides annual sports, national memorable days, & different types of educational programs are organized.

There are 60 teachers, 20 non-teaching staffs & at about 3000 students, which has a important roleplaying for education.
