About Tukra in BISHNUPUR, Bankura

This page represent an academy of classical dance. Managed by very talented Miss Debarati Dasgupta, who have started learning kathak when she was 3 years old. In a very little span she started her dance career in national platforms. Received many awards like Nrityamani award from cuttack mahotsav 2013, Nrityashri award from International Theater festival 2012. She was a part of the group of a special performance during the INDO-AFRICAN summit 2013 at Rashtrapati Bhaban. She was a national scholership holder for her excellent upbringing in classical dance. She is also a receipient off Nataraj Samman. She is the deciple of famous Sangeet Natak Academy award winner DR. Malabika Mitra. TUKRA..is a place where the main motto is to expand the flavor of kathak in a very soft note.
