Merak is a Serbian word that refers to a sense of oneness with the universe that is derived from the simplest of pleasures. It is in this spirit that Nina Desai — a full-time mother, spiritual healer, untrained (but passionate) dancer and someone who finds joy in interacting with people — makes products that are 100% natural and so, so good for you. She is one of the few people who was excited to turn 60 as she would officially be called a senior citizen. Nina has always had a green thumb and was attracted to all things natural. This stemmed from a desire to make all-natural foods for her children.
