We would like to introduce ourselves as organizers of outbound and wilderness programmes.

What drives our work is our belief that experiencing Nature is essential in today’s world for people to care about the environment; being in the wilderness is also extremely beneficial to children and adults, fostering holistic and deep thinking in mysterious ways. Hence our intention is to offer wilderness experiences and activities to as many people as we can. We also enjoy adventure activities and love working with people.

During our programmes, apart from exposure to beautiful wilderness areas, we include adventure activities like trekking, rock climbing, water activities and etc. which build confidence, apart from helping participants discover ways to enjoy themselves without hi-tech gizmos.

If outbound activities are required for leadership training, team building or any other focus area, we have highly experienced facilitators to support us. Therefore our programmes are a mix of Outbound Training, Adventure, Nature and Fun; we always weave in a focus on caring for the environment in practical ways, and make it a unique and holistic learning experience for each person.

We have been designing and organizing programmes for adult and youth groups, corporate organizations, schools and for an NGO, Bhoomi Network. We have trained intensively on adventure activities, know our terrain extremely well and give primary importance to safe equipment and safety procedures.


About the Resource Persons:

> Ananth Somaiah has been an Outdoor Expert who has taken several groups on treks through various routes on the Western Ghats. Trained at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, he is an excellent team person for climbing exercises. He has worked with both adults and children with The Adventurers, Bangalore and Wilder Trails, Chennai. Kids love working with him and he enjoys encouraging them to stretch their limits and discover new experiences in wilderness areas.

> Nayan. N.D. belongs to Shimoga District and knows many trekking routes in the area like the back of his hand. He has been taking school, college and corporate groups on trekking expeditions for over 8 years and is thorough with all support and safety procedures. He is a resourceful person during camps and it is extremely reassuring to have him as an Outdoor Expert for a range of activities.
