About Adishakti School of Bharatanatyam in Kasturi Nagar and Indiranagar, Bangalore

'Adishakti' is a dance school founded by Charles Ma aka (Rudra Rai).
It aims at teaching the traditional Bharatanatyam Margam to youngsters and aspiring soloists. The school has grown and has 30 students today some of whom are soloists and teachers themselves.

The teaching includes the inclusion of corollory artforms such as Yoga, Kalaripayattu, strength and conditioning etc. There is a quiet, holistic enviroment as one class is conducted in a temple premise. The teaching is done by the guru and is to encourage the student to learn slowly, systematically and spiritually.
