About Radiant School of Learning in #14, Heerachand Road, Coxtown, Bangalore

In 2003, Radiant School of Learning (RSL), formally known as Radiant High School, began by providing tutions for the underprivileged children of Doddigunta community and the surrounding areas in Cox Town. Now RSL is an established institution that provides quality education for these children. RSL rises to the challenge to be the Gateway to Change thus breaking the cycle of poverty. Behind this challenge is a team of dedicated and committed teachers and volunteers who work towards this cause.

SYLLABUS
RSL follows the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) syllabus and pattern of education. NIOS caters to the students who have little or no background in education. It offers students the flexibility of taking exams as and when they are ready.Students are enrolled in RSL from Class VIII or from age twelve and above. Most often these students cannot read, write or speak English at the time of admission. English is taught from the very basic level, in order to build a good foundation in the language of instruction.

RSL prepares the students for the NIOS Secondary (Class X) as well as Senior Secondary (Class XII) exams.

SPONSORSHIP
RSL offers free education, books, uniforms and food for students. The cost of educating a child is Rs. 16000 per year. This is made possible through the generosity of people who share the vision and are willing to sponsor a child. Sponsors can avail of a tax benefit under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
