I do not claim to be a “Michelin Star” chef, however I do possess a growing list of satisfied folk whose contented smiles and gracious complements make cooking for them such a pleasure. In some ways I think I was born to cook. Many of my memories are centred around food, eating or cooking - for myself, family and friends.

Cooking is my way of relaxing. I get involved, immersed in it. Its magic, its art, it’s a rhapsody weaving culinary magic with ingredients varying from the basic to the highly exotic. The different flavours, textures, colours and the aromas come together in a symphony that makes me feel alive. To me what makes a great dish primarily is not the venue or fashion it's served in, but the friendship and conversation that comes along with it. In fact, the secrets of my cooking are the use of the freshest ingredients, keeping it simple and the passion.

Many of my friends and close acquaintances often ask me to share my recipes or to cook for them and that’s what started the whole concept of “Sheetals Homemade”

At the very outset I was clear that I did not want to start just another bakery. I wanted to create a unique niche. I decided on making the best culinary fare that I can, ranked by the number of smiles they brought. Initially everyone I bounced the concept off thought it was an outrageous idea, yet loved it and this is a unique approach is the secret to my proven success. Something I would like to share and take to everyone to enjoy. And that is where you come in.
