Activities: We have 2 product ranges - a premium range which is for profit and a cost price range which economically disadvantaged women. The first range is launched and the second we are awaiting results from the product testing process to finalise design. We are working on a marketing plan for and preparing to launch the cost price range and see this as needing a full campaign to raise awareness about these alternative products - we would really require help with this and can further elaborate. Tip4Change
www.tip4change.wordpress.com
The Tipping Point is a new venture promoted by Gijs Spoor, Anil Kumar and Bernd Hausmann.
A Step by Step guide through the process:
1. Producer groups apply for consumer support by submitting a format with basic project data and a personal story of someone directly affected by their initiative;
2. This data is entered in a database, capturing categories relevant for consumers. Spot check verification is done where needed;
3. The database is linked to an existing track & trace software that follows the movement of goods from producer to consumer;
4. Once the goods reach the retailer they come with a pack of Point Of Sale display material and an IMPACT MENU card handled by retail staff;
5. Consumers see the product, read about the projects in any of 4 ways: 1)swing-tag, 2)in store barcode scanner, 3)mobile app, 4)menu card at cash counter;
6. If consumer decides to support a project the check out software registers this by scanning the barcode + the amount, this is added to the bill;
7. Retailers report on sales on weekly basis. At this moment donations are tallied and money transferred to our payment gateway along with project ID codes;
8. We pay producer groups in tranches of Rs 20,000 -each after getting report on the related milestone.

Vision: say a “BIG NO” to plastic shopping bags. ATMASANGA literally means the ‘coming together of souls’. We cannot afford to exploit and plunder our natural resources and defile the environment indefinitely. We have reached a point in time when we should STOP, THINK and ACT!

Seed to Self
www.seedtoself.in
founder:Theresa Grantham
Vision: developing an educational tool kit for schools and colleges to explain the manufacturing process and how it impacts on peoples lives.
Retail should not just be about acquiring goods or services in exchange for money. It should be about the selection of those purchases through a conscious process of self enquiry to benefit all the parties involved – raw material suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and end users. In a spirit of true transparency and respect for the natural environment, all stakeholders have it within themselves to care about and nurture mutual, spiritual well-being.
