ABC gives priority to 'field-based study', in contrast to the old literature-based work on biodiversity conservation. ABC is manned with tremendously mature expertise in the respective fields of Zoology, Botany, Geology, Geography, Anthropology and Agriculture. Due the long association of these experts with the Zoological Survey of India, Anthropological Survey of India, botanical Survey of India, Geological Survey of India, Geographical Society of India, agricultural institutes, universities, colleges and NGOs, they are highly experienced in research and surveys.These scientists, academicians and technicians are capable to identify and monitor biological components, crop plants, nature and quantum of physico-chemical and biological factors responsible for environmental degradation.
