About Calamari in Candolim Beach, Goa

Calamari opened in October 2003 as a joint venture between two high-school buddies - Verner Da Costa Frias and Reginaldo D'Souza. Each one brought their own skill set into the business and over the years it has grown to be one of the most frequented restaurants in Goa by domestic and international visitors.

Located only a few metres away from the ocean on Dando Beach, Candolim, Calamari offers a beautiful beach setting for all its guests. Whether you are looking for a place to come and unwind, to drink & dine, enjoy live music, host a party, or even do some celebrity spotting (!!!) Calamari will charm you from the moment you enter.

The food menu is hugely varied offering all sorts: veg/non-veg, pasta/pizza, Goan, Indian, Chinese, Grills, Salads..... and each dish is prepared on the spot, by chefs that have been there since day 1!

If you love music, this is the place to visit. Calamari is one of the only places in Goa offering live music every lunchtime and every dinnertime, every day of the week from November to May. Each band has a charm of its own, so be sure to check them all out!!!
