About Machagora Dam in Machgora, Chhindwara
Machagora Dam(The Pench Diversion Project) is start functioning from the rainy season of the June-July 2016,It is situated on the pench rivar tributary of the Kanhan River orinnated from the sathpura series of mountains will provide irrigation to about 70,918 hectares of land in Chhindwara and Seoni districts. However, it is more about privatising water for two power plants of 1,320 mW each by major power companies Adani and SKS Limited.Area : 5500 Hect.
